Between 20:48 October 3rd and 09:13 October 4th UTC some merchants experienced a higher rate of 3DS failures on attempted checkouts. During this period impacted merchants would have seen a response of validation error 91585 (Amount must match the 3D Secure authorization amount) or 91584 (Merchant account must match the 3D Secure authorization merchant account).
Merchants testing in our sandbox environment would have seen the same validation errors between 16:15 October 3rd and 13:15 October 4th UTC.
Scope: This issue only impacted some merchants utilizing the 3DS verification feature. The Braintree Gateway was up and accepting requests during this period.
